Speak to anyone in marketing and they will tell you that a "unique selling point" is a key factor to success.
Words like "quality", "care", "value" and "best" are bandied about with ease.
If we are honest, we sell IT infrastructures based on Hewlett Packard technologies and there are 1001 other companies who do the same, all of whom will tell you that customer satisfaction is their main objective. There are no discernable differentiators.
We do not have a mission statement but if we did, it might be something like:
"If anything goes wrong on your project we will sort it out"
Heard anyone else say that?
